Naya
Name/Designation: Naya X5- 715
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Race: Transgenic
Faction: Terminal City
Occupation: Thief, musician, bartender, waitress, mercenary , really whatever pays the bills. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty but there is a limit as to how far she will go. She has morals even if they may be a little off/odd
Face Claim: Summer Glau
Other: Like the other X-5's Naya was born to a surrogate and raised with others like herself in a unit. When Max and the others escaped things got worse at Manticore. The hell hole became worse which didn't seem possible but it did. Security tightened and so did the suffocating leash that held them all. The mental and physical training became harsher, more grueling. Naya hated Max and those that left. Because of her and the others that were free, Naya and her unit-mates, suffered at the hands of Lydecker and those he answered to.
As she grew up she was sent outside of Manticore on undercover assignments. During her training for certain assignments she learned the skills of playing various types of instruments. She finds much comfort in classical music especially the cello and piano.
Naya saw what life was like outside of her large jail cell. Her hatred of Max and the others that escaped turned into resentment. Max got to grow up outside of Manticore in a world where you were free to choose. When Max freed them all Naya wasn't entirely sure what to do with herself. She had always felt that choking collar and leash ever since she could remember and now it was gone. She was free. Of course that freedom didn't last long. Soon Naya and those like her was hunted by a weird ancient cult hell bent on eradicating transgenics and normals that feared them. She has no idea about Sandeman and his old ties to the cult or that Max is somehow the key to it all. Naya has kept to herself as much as possible and found a place to stay with various jobs while Max, Alec, Logan and others lead a war, a revolution, whatever they wanted to call it. She isn't sure what to do with the coming war. She wants peace but knows that is going to be a long hard road. Naya is not one to just lie down and die. She will fight tooth and nail to defend those like her but will not let other transgenics lash out and murder the "ordinaries" if they so much as look at them wrong. Though Naya lingers on the side lines in the shadows, she knows that time is ending. What role she will play in the coming battles will soon be decided.
